Obituary of Ralph Gordon Thomson

THOMSON, Ralph Gordon, age 80, of Craven, SK passed away peacefully at Pasqua Hospital on February 17, 2005. Ralph was born and raised in Springwater, SK, finished schooling in Saskatoon before joining the RCAF in which he served eleven years and is a life member of the Lumsden Legion. His love for growing vegetables and flowers started up QuAppelle Gardens, lasting twenty-six years until retirement. Ralph was predeceased by an infant daughter; father Dan; mother Alice (Cowan); and brothers-in-law Jock MacDonald, Jack and Marshall Young; sister-in-law Mabel Young. Left to mourn is his wife of 46 years, Marilyn (Young); daughter Marral Eberts; son Barry (Nancy); also sons Larry (Kathy), Richard (Betty), Chris and their mother Ruth; grandchildren Mathew, Natalie, Rianne, Richelle and Nicholas. Sorrow is with his sisters Myrtle (Keirn) Wallace and Eileen (Bill) Dupuis along with many nieces, nephews and friends. At Ralphs request there will be no formal funeral or memorial service.
