Obituary of Barbara Marie Senger

We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Senger on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the age of 73.  She passed away peacefully with family by her side after a courageous battle with breast cancer.  She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Senger; her parents Arthur and Elma Wagner; and father and mother-in-law Otto and Olga Senger.  Barb is survived by her son Jason (Paula) Senger; grandchildren Kaiden and Chase Senger; brother Don Wagner and his son Adrian; sister Joanne (Blaine) Dawson and her son Curtis; sister-in-law Coreen (Gord) Gerrard and their sons Sandy (Glenda) and Marty and his daughter Austyn; and sister-in-law Glenda (Alvin) Paquin and their son Brett and daughter Dana. Grandchildren Kaiden and Chase were her pride and joy and will miss her immensely. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Palliative Home Care and the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at Southey Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hwy #6,  Southey, SK,  on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Lowell Dennis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Southey Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barb’s memory to the Southey Emmanuel Lutheran Church, PO Box 177, Hwy #6 North, Southey SK, S0G 4P0.
