Obituary of William Ross Perry

Ross Perry of Regina passed away quietly at the Parkside Nursing Home on October 6, 2017. Ross was born on the farm at Lewvan, Saskatchewan.

Ross is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gean (Brown); two sons, Keith Perry and Warren Perry; daughter, Connie (Terry) Plosker; grandchildren, Bernie (Paula) Plosker, Wendi (C’ome) Prefontaine and Jessica (Jeff) Millar; great grandchildren, Carter and Willow Plosker, Livia Prefontaine and Amethyst Millar; sister, Murial Olsen; sister-in-law, Fran Perry; brother-in-law, Bob Tomlinson; three godsons, Colin McWilliams, Edward and Graeme Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Ross attended Maple Leaf School and Lewvan High School. He worked for Hugh Gas, the Sask. Wheat Pool and McGavins. Ross enjoyed several years as a member of the Masonic Lodge, the WaWa Shriners and the Sons of Scotland. He loved to curl, garden and build things out of oak.

Ross was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Margaret Perry; brothers, John Perry and Mel Perry; sisters, Mary Ward, Beth Kraft, Dorothy Tomlinson and Faye Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7.
