Eileen was born in Rosthern, SK on September 16, 1935 and grew up on a farm near Carlton, SK. Teaching elementary school in Eastend, she met Roland and together they journeyed through Melfort and Grenfell before settling in Regina to live and raise a family. Eileen will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved spending time with family and friends. She took great pride in being the best mother and grandmother she could be.  Always quick to bake or cook something or sew the needed clothing or flags. Eileen could often be found playing bridge with many groups of friends or By George with her family. Work in her church and surrounding community was important to her. Over the years she was very active at St. Martin de Porres Parish, particularly with the CWL. Eileen was a blood donor as long as she was able, canvassed for organizations such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation and others.
