Obituary of Harry Soroka

Harry was born on the family farm near Craven, Saskatchewan.  He was raised in Regina and graduated from Scott Collegiate.  Following his graduation Harry went to work for the Leader Post until his retirement in 1991.  Harry was the second oldest of four brothers.  He was predeceased by his parents Katherine and Dmytro; and older brother Walter.  Harry will be remembered by his brothers Edward and Peter John (Jack); his children, Gregory (Brenda), Steven (Luidmilla), and Paula (Joseph); his six grandchildren, Tylor (Nadine), Adrienne, Colin, Ruslan (Meaghan), Roman and Katherine; as well as his extended families of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. A private family interment will follow. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunset Extendicare for their support in caring for Harry during the past two years.
