Obituary of George Everett Frederick Zink

ZINK - GEORGE E. F. It is with profound sadness that the family of George Everett Frederick Zink announces his passing on Friday, August 29, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, Everett and Thomasina and in-laws Jim and May Lowes. George is survived by his loving wife Joan; his children Daryl and Darcy of Regina; his sisters Margaret of Regina, SK and Gertrude of Nampa, AB and other extended family. George was born in Regina in 1933, grew up on a farm west of Govan, SK and lived in Regina for forty-six years. George worked as a carpenter for Smith Brothers and Wilson, Dominion Construction and P.C.L. Construction for many years and then as a private contractor. George was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for fifty years. The family would like to thank family and friends for their support. No funeral service will be held as per George's request. Flowers are gratefully declined.
