Obituary of Martin Desnomie Sr.

MARTIN DESNOMIE SR. (Marty Bear) November 10, 1946 – February 14, 2017 Marty Bear leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years, Shirley and their children Dale, children Preston, Prudence and Presley, Sherry Ann (Vince), children Shawn (Timara), Katelyn, Samantha and Hannah, Crystal (Cam), children Chucky (Geanine), Jamal, Savannah, Monty, William, and Mikey, Martin Jr. (Pam), children Marissa, Kyle and Ashley, and his baby girl Priscilla (Mur), children Marcel, Lexus, Alora, and Jason and his only great-grandchild Kiley Jade; godchildren Carol, Stevie, Jenna Lee and Amy Jo; as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and family. He was predeceased by his parents, son Perry, godchild Sydelle Akapew and other family members. Marty was a great musician, artist and carpenter. He loved playing with his band on the road. Marty would always sing and play at home for his visitors for one of his Marty Parties. Marty Bear took great pride in all of his many talents. He battled prostate cancer and beat it.
