Obituary of Elizabeth Loos

Betty passed away peacefully on January 7, 2011 surrounded by family members at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. She was born on June 6, 1927 in Regina. She is predeceased by her parents Katherine and Lawrence Loos, sister-in-law Rose, and brother Philip in infancy. Betty is survived by her brothers Lawrence, Norbert, and Edwin (Alice). Nieces and nephews include; Lorna (Ken), Alan, Diane (Bob), Jim (Jan), Maureen (Bob), Nancy (Hans), Larry (Siobhan), Patti (Ron), Ron (Sheila) and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Betty was employed at Prudential Insurance for 22 years. She was passionate about dancing in her younger years, and she took ballroom dance classes with her close friend Rita. Betty lived many courageous years with Multiple Sclerosis. Her dearest companion, her brother Norbert, lived with and cared for Betty until she moved to the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in 2001. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their extraordinarily loving and compassionate care for Betty. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 10:00 am in Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK.
