LAVERNE JOHN HAMM October 25, 1942 - March 7, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laverne Hamm on March 7, 2011. He passed away in his home with his partner Myra at his side. He leaves to mourn: his partner Myra Heisler; daughters, Linda (Todd) Ferrie, grandson Connor Ferrie and Linda's mother Winnifred Spenst; Veronica and her mother Ruth Schultz; sisters, Delores Mengering of Saskatoon and Darlene Black of Regina; three nieces and three nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, clients and friends. His last job was a driver for VanDees, Wheels on Wheels, which he enjoyed to the fullest. He cared for his clients enabling them to be mobile, thanks to the services of this company. Verne was born in Regina, started his education in a one-room school at Ladysmith Crossing, moving on to Balfour College in Regina. His skills provided many opportunities and jobs. He touched many lives with his pleasing personality, and gave as much to others as he could. Verne was a man with many skills and talents.
