Obituary of Donald Henry Johns

Don passed away in Regina at the age of 78 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by parents Earl and Frances (Lekavy); brother Bud and beloved granddaughter Ambria Johns. Don is survived by his loving wife Deanna (Jorgenson); son Kent (Laurie) of Edmonton; daughters Kathryn of Toronto and Kim (Francis) Hickey of Campbell River; grandchildren James, Joshua and Danielle; brother Doug; sisters Peggy (Martin) Lazore; Marion Carabine and sister-in-law Beth Johns as well as many nieces and nephews. Don was born in Wadena and raised in Saskatoon, having gone to Nutana Collegiate. He enjoyed sports and select hobbies. His career began in Saskatoon and over 30 years took him to Winnipeg and Regina where he has resided for the past 38 years. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
