Obituary of Charles Eric Pratt

Charles Jr., 37 years old, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Charles is survived by his loving parents, Charles and Yvonne; grandparents, Isabelle Pratt and Henry Bird; siblings: Angela Pratt (Craig), Dawn Pratt (Owen), Ross, Keith, Carmen Buschow (Lennie), Sheila Tataquason, and Tom Ross; nephews, Craig Jr. and Caleb; nieces, Maiara and Charley. Charles was predeceased by his brother Leslie David Severight; grandparents, William Pratt and Mary Bird. Charles was born premature on July 7, 1973 in Regina, SK, and suffered brain damage at birth. He grew up under the care of his loving parents for 32 years. Charles loved rejoicing in the Lord, preaching and praying for anyone in need and playing his guitar and singing to the Lord. Charles had a special fondness for his Uncle Hoss and Aunty Joanne. A special appreciation to all of the staff at Chip and Dale Housing Inc. (8th Avenue Home) and The Cosmopolitan Learning Center for their care during the last years of his life. We will celebrate Charles life at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Thursday, April 21, 2011 with viewing and story-telling at 5:00 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 22, 2011 with a Funeral Service at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm, Pratt Cemetery, Muscoweptung First Nation. Pastor Bernard (Hoss) Jack will be officiating. There will be a luncheon served at City of Refuge Church, 4205 7th Avenue, Regina (corner at Pasqua Street) at 3:00 pm.
