Obituary of Alan Wayne Missens

ALAN WAYNE MISSENS July 11, 1959 - May 6, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Alan. We are comforted to know that he is now in the Spirit world greeted by his loving Mother Beatrice; Grandparents, Maggie (Vincent) and Jake McKay, Tommy and Mabel Lavallee; Uncles Mervin, George, Keith and Aunt Linda. He will be greatly missed by daughters, Tara, Jamie and grandchildren; Brothers, Thomas, Kelly, Regan; and sister Shelley and their families; Special Aunt Shirley; Uncles, Pat, Leonard and Jimmy; Aunts, Evelyn, Pauline and Margaret; and numerous other family members who loved him dearly. Special thank you to Delbert and Victoria Kaiswatum and Harry Francis. A big thank you to all the home care nurses who were there to take care of him. Special heartfelt thanks to all of you, who helped, cared for and stayed with Alan over the years. Wake will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall on Pasqua First Nation. Funeral on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Elders to officiate. Feast to follow.
