Obituary of Warren Taylor

Warren T.L. Taylor January 4, 1934 - May 12, 2011 Warren, of Regina SK, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2011 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Taylor and his brother, Ken. Warren is survived by his soul-mate and wife of 46 years, Erika; daughter Kim (Richard); son John (Andrea); three grandchildren Brenna, Katherine and Laila; brother Neil (Shirley) and sister Illa (Gordon). Warren served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a wireless operator on HMCS Beacon Hill, worked as a brick layer all over western Canada for 25 years, and was an Occupational Health and Safety Officer with the Saskatchewan Department of Labour for 20 years. Warren was known as 'The Great Communicator', and was considered a gentleman, a scholar and a friend to all who crossed his path. He loved his family with abandon and lived to serve others. His desire was to always 'leave things better than he found them' and he always did. We have assurance that his pain has ended and he is with his Lord and Saviour ... probably playing crib and praying for his Riders! A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, #301 - 2550 12th Ave., Regina SK, S4P 3X1.
