Obituary of Eleanor Jane Craig

The family of Nana? are celebrating her life of 95 years. Eleanor passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2011. Predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, Frank Richard Fox; her second husband, Donald J. Craig (Osage); son Frank John Richard Fox; and daughter Florence Katherine Ash. She is survived by her sons, Robert Fox (Delores) and William Bill? Donald Fox (Judith). Carrying her memory with them forever are Nanas 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Eleanor spent many years active in the community and teaching business education to high school students in Melfort, SK, before retiring to Regina, SK. Retirement brought a love of gardening, crocheting and needlepoint, but more than the hobbies was the kids. Her home had grandchildren coming and going all the time and that is what she loved the most. Nana truly loved young people, family gatherings, babies, good food, and lively conversation. She will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Derek F. Nicholls officiating. A reception will be held at Speers Family Centre following the service.
