Obituary of John Backlun

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Backlun on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Howard and Earl; and wife Ann; John is survived by his sons, Laverne, and Lloyd (Sandra); grandchildren, Sherry and Steven; great-grandchildren, Mia and Drake; brothers, Lawrence (Elsie), and Eddie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary R.C. Church, Tribune, SK on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Slager Cemetery.
