Obituary of Arthur Karl Wolfe

ARTHUR KARL WOLFE Arthur Wolfe, originally of the Markinch SK District, late of Regina, passed away on May 21, 2011, at the age of 90 years. Art was born September 10, 1920 on the family farm near Markinch, farming in the district all his life before retiring to Regina. He was called to Heaven as a faithful servant of God, very peacefully, surrounded by and hand in hand with his family, at Sunset Extendicare Nursing Home in Regina. He was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Emilie Wolf; son Brian in 1992; brothers, Norman in 1998, Clifford in 2002, and sister Alma Weisbrod in 2009. He leaves to mourn his wife of 63 years, Victoria, also of Sunset Extendicare; his daughter Lorna Robinson; daughter-in-law Katherine Wolfe; grandson Warren Wolfe, all of Regina; granddaughter Lacey Wolfe of Lethbridge AB; sister Erna Wendling of Southey SK; brothers-in-law, Emil Wendling of Shalom Nursing Home in Cupar, Ernest Weisbrod of Cupar; sisters-in-law, Stephanie Wolfe of Regina, Lorine Wolfe of Calgary, Lena Weslowski of Edson AB; brother-in-law Paul Weslowski (Martha) of Moosomin SK; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK, from 7:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Funeral Service will be held at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Markinch SK on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, southwest of Markinch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church or Wheatwyn Bethlehem Cemetery Care Fund (c/o St. Marks) Markinch SK, S0G 3J0.
