Obituary of Theodore Harty

Ted, late of Regina, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the age of 78 after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Shirley; daughters Debra, & Tracey; Ted's brothers Andrew, Wendel, Joe, Henry, Leonard; Ted's sisters Jean, Rose, Regina and Rita. Ted is survived by his sons, Richard (Erchel), Kevin (Jacqueline) & daughters Raylene, Arin (Kenny) Sauer; grandchildren from oldest to youngest, Michael, Richard, Markus, Chelsea, Chris, Heidi, Jade, Kayla, Ella, Maddison, Jacob, & Keaton; brothers Paul (Rose), Adam (Florence), Al, Tony (Hilda), Bert (Marian); sisters Lea (Fred); and Ted's friend Shirley Marshall. Ted worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 45 years and enjoyed a lifetime career & hobby of music as an accordion player. Ted will be remembered and cherished for his unselfishness, love of people, volunteerism, generous nature, love and devotion to his family. Ted touched many lives and will be missed by all. A special thank you to the nurses from the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. You are invited to the celebration of Ted's life which will take place at Gateway Christian Fellowship, 1812 Arthur St., Regina on Thursday, June 2nd at 10:30am.
