Obituary of Randie Haines

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randie Haines, on Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born December 23, 1947 in North Battleford, SK. He is survived by his most loving family: his wife of 44 years, Donalie; daughters, Selina (Darren and granddaughter, Sydney) and Resha (Tim and grandson, Bailey); his mother, Mary Wintersgill; and seven siblings. The most important part of Randies life was his family and he always made certain they were a priority. He loved spending time with his wife exploring Saskatchewan and just being together. His grandchildren brought such joy to his life and an unbelievable smile to his face. His smiles would light up our souls and his humour added laughter to anyones heart that met him. Through thick and thin, Randie always enjoyed cheering for the Roughriders and he was a very proud Canadian. He recently retired from the Ministry of Highways and Transportation after 37 years of service and was a very dedicated employee and co-worker. A private family service will be held. For those wishing to express sympathy, please make a donation to a charity of choice in Randies memory. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.speersfuneralchapel.com
