Obituary of Emily Barbara Pfeifer

Emily was born in Markinch, SK on May 9, 1929 and passed away in Regina on Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Emily is survived by her loving family: daughter Angela (Bruce) Trenker of Vernon, BC; granddaughters Cheryl (Chaun) of Kelowna, BC and Kristen (Scott) of Calgary, AB; sister Elsie Riddell of Regina; and nieces and nephews in Regina, Saskatoon and Vancouver. She was predeceased by her parents John and Ottillie Wolfe of Regina; twin sister Hilda Jacimirski of Vancouver; Angelas father Fred Pfeifer of Saskatoon; and brother-in-law Alfred Riddell of Regina. Emily was a generous person who was always ready to compliment others and put them at ease. She had pets of some sort in her life and her love extended to all animals as well as to humans. Her faith in her Lord was foremost throughout her life. Emily will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Angela and family extend thanks to the staff at Parkside Extendicare for their compassionate care of Emily for the past several years. Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Avenue, Regina on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeremy Swem officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
