Obituary of Marion Berner

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marion MaryAnn? Berner on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 65. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary Banda; parents-in-law, Henry and Mabel Berner and brother-in-law Jim Yanko. Marion is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Lorne and her children Tad (Corby), Regan (Jim) Williams, and Wade (Irene). Marion is also survived by her grandchildren, Grandmas Angels? Michaela and Bailey Williams and Jordan Berner; siblings, Dan (Gloria), Ed (Donna), Bernice and Kim (David); in-laws? Larry (Glenna), Dennis (Betty), Chris and Gail; as well as numerous family members and friends. Marion will forever be remembered for her sense of humour and her strong devotion to family. She was always quick with a smile and a kind word and will be missed. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 2005 Edgar Street, Regina on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Cosmin Sicoe officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. We are grateful for the care Marion received from everyone during her illness.
