Predeceased by her husband Christian (Chris) in 1993; parents Frank and Anna; sister Mary Bohn; brothers, Frank and John (in infancy); and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank (Anne) Stoudt, Caroline Lena (Ben) Mastel, Loretta Kraft, Veronica Tobias, Henry Fink, Frank Fink and Casey Bohn. Anna is survived by her daughter Paulette (Richard) Reed; granddaughter Andrea Reed; grandson Darren (Kari-Lynn) Reed and great-grandson Braeden Reed; sisters-in-law, Margaret Ulrich and Louise Fink; brother-in-law Nick Kraft; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends and acquaintances. Born on January 15, 1925, Anna lived in Vibank, Southey and then Regina, SK. Anna moved to Saskatoon in 1997 and was a resident of Shepherd Apts. where she lived independently until December 31, 2010. She loved to entertain, especially to cook and bake for all of her friends and acquaintances there. Anna was known for her wonderful pies and cinnamon buns. Illness took her for a long hospital stay until she moved to Preston Extendicare in February 2011. A special thank you to all staff at Preston Extendicare, the care and caring she received was wonderful and much appreciated by her and her family. Anna's final goal in life was to survive to see her second great-grandchild (currently expected by Darren and Kari-Lynn and due any day). She was much loved by all that knew her, especially for her quick wit and great sense of humour. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A Prayer Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Cecilia R.C. Church, 5020 7th Avenue, Regina on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. J.B. Okai presiding. Interment to follow at Vibank Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
