Obituary of Andrew Steele

It is with sadness that the family of Frank Steele announces his sudden passing on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Dolores and his parents Viola and Roy; Frank is survived and will be dearly remembered by his daughter Marg (Cal) Stewart and their children Charmaine and Doug; son Roy (Cindy) and their children Michael (Nicole), Nicole (Kelly), Janelle (Brendon), Deon and Dustin; three great-grandchildren, Kara, Charlie and Emma; as well as numerous members of Dolores family. Frank loved the outdoors. He was an avid gardener, and he built stone walls out at the lake by hand. Frank really enjoyed all the time spent at the lake, for it was there that he made some of his greatest memories? with family and friends. His love for the outdoors lasted throughout his life; he learned to ski at the age of 50 and climbed Fisher Peak at the age of 65. Frank loved to entertain, he was known for mixing his infamous Monroe Wing Special.? Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martins RC Church, 4720 Castle Road, Regina, on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Msgr. Ken Miller presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
