Obituary of Myles Donovel

Myles passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the age of 50 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank (Sandy) and Agnes Donovel; brother-in-law Robert Williams; and twin nephews, Kendrick and Garrick Martin. He is survived by his two sons, Matthew and Nathan Donovel; his sisters, Sandra Williams, Patricia (Ira) Martin, and Gaylene (Bruce) Carnochan. Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces, nephews, and great nephews, Jonathon (Leah), Jordan and Carter Williams, Joel Williams, Linden (Amber) and Aden Martin, MacKenzie (Trevor) Martin-Proskie, Cortnie Carnochan and fiance Mike Jacobson, and Kaira, Kahner, and Cohlton Carnochan as well as several Aunts and Uncles. Myles grew up in Fort Qu'Appelle, and after graduating from High School, he started working at Canadian Mental Health in Regina and later went to Culligan Water Group where he was currently employed. He loved his home at Pasqua Lake and resided there each spring, summer, fall and a portion of the winter for as long as he could endure the cold weather. Wherever Myles went, laughter followed. He always had a good joke to share and a funny story. His unique and welcoming personality always made a friend or a stranger feel at ease. His cheerful demeanor and kind heart made him a fun addition to any group activity. He definitely was the life of the party. He loved all sports but was a diehard Montreal Canadiens fan as well as a true Saskatchewan Roughrider fan. He put a whole new meaning to "bleeding green" for his beloved Roughriders. In his short life, Myles touched many hearts, always putting friends and family before himself. Our lives have been enriched by having shared in his life. He will be truly missed by all. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Myles' Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Monday, September 12th, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Myles may be made to the Saskatchewan Parkinsons Disease Foundation, P.O.
