Obituary of Antonia Marella

Antonia passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was born in Faeto, Foggia, Italy on July 9, 1925. Antonia was predeceased by her husband, Leonardo (1973) and her son, Nicolino (1950), and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Adriana, her son-in-law, Tyler, and her granddaughter Chiara; her sisters, Giovanna (late Joe), Lidia (late Paolo) and Maria (late Fedele); brothers, Leonardo (Marilee) and Salvatore (Sheila); along with her many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Antonia was a Sunday School Teacher, a gifted seamstress, knitter and crocheter. She was, also, well known for her work for the church, and her generous nature. Antonia will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 3125 13th Avenue, Regina on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a private family interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
