Obituary of Aliza Caroline Ripplinger

The family of Aliza are heartbroken to announce her passing on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband, August, her parents, eight brothers and seven sisters; Aliza is survived by her daughter Darlene Zand (Danny); son Bill (Gloria); grandchildren Joel, Brooks and Jade; and sister-in-law Anne Seitz (George) along with many nieces and nephews. Aliza worked alongside her husband for many years, caring for the teachers and students at St. Andrews School. She was very involved with the CWL at Little Flower Church helping with many breakfasts and church functions. She loved her condo at Broadway Terrace and was soon known as the baker of the best cinnamon buns,? sharing with her neighbors, friends and family. Mom was a very special, caring person, always making her family the priority. She will be truly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Sunset for their kindness and compassionate care they gave mom during her last days. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower RC Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m with Rev. Barry Anwender presiding. Private family interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
