Obituary of Josephine Mary Deane

Jodie Deane passed away in Regina on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the age of 83. Jodie was born in Webb, Saskatchewan, on July 29, 1928. She was the devoted wife of Joseph Deane for fifty-seven years, beloved mother of Jim Deane, Susan Deane (Dan Gillis) of Cobourg, Ontario, Mary Johnson, and Rosalyn (Kerk Hilton) of Calgary; and cherished grandmother of Kirsten (Denny Smith), Joey and Jennifer Deane; Katie (Derek Frostad), Carolyn (Joel Cyr) and Stephen Johnson; and Trevor, Emma and Grace Hilton; and great-grandson, Tristan Frostad. Jodie was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Reta Donohoe and brother, Willmott Donohoe. In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Jodie is survived by her two sisters, Patricia (Vince Reed) of Calgary and Mae (Tom West) of Coldstream, B.C. Jodie, a graduate of Brandon College and the University of Manitoba, was a homemaker and a dedicated community volunteer. A private memorial service will be held for the family.
