Obituary of Horace Whitworth Green

HORACE WHITWORTH GREEN Horace, born in Regina on July 11, 1927, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Horace is survived by his wife of 36 years, Candy Munro; and his remaining sister, Betty Ford of Regina. He is also survived by a very special niece and goddaughter, Margaret (Allen) Neal, their lovely daughters and grandson. Special family friends, Shirley (Betty) Green and Vicki Alberts of Regina also mourn his passing, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Horace was predeceased by his father, Percy in December of 1971 and his mother Vera (nee Gardner) in August of 1948. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Marjorie Ludvigsen (Dawson Creek) on March 25, 1991 and Irene Kirby (Regina) on March 19, 1997; as well as his brothers, Gilbert (Regina) in February of 1928, George (Regina) on March 2, 1998 and Donald (Moose Jaw) on August 26, 1999. At Horaces request there will be cremation and no formal funeral service. Flowers gratefully declined.
