Obituary of Roy Trumbley

Roy passed away August 18, 2011 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Fishley) of 63 years, daughter Brenda, twin sister Ruby (Ollie) Howard, nieces and nephews, extended family; Hazel Burgess, Ruby Klatt, Stuart (Rose) Fishley, Blake Fishley, Reta (Jim) Kennedy, Helen Kufley and nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents Peter and Maggie Trumbley, his infant brother, Douglas, brother John (Gertie), sister Myrtle (John) Huber, mother and father in law Jessie and Fred Fishley, John (Bessie) Fishley, Lawrence Burgess, Bill Klatt and Dianne Fishley. Roy farmed in the Disley area and joined the Air Force and served in Europe in World War II. He retired from the Post Office. He loved visiting, babysitting, family gatherings, church activities, camping, travelling, working with his hands and gardening. Special thanks to the staff at Wascana Rehabilitation Center Veterans Ward and William Booth Special Care Home. A Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception at Speers Family Center.
