Obituary of Malinda Pauline Ledingham

Malinda Pauline Ledingham (nee Malinda Holland) passed away peacefully at Wascana Rehabilitation Center in Regina on Monday, September 13, 2010. Linda is survived by her son Garry Ledingham of Calgary; daughter Sandra Ledingham and husband Kevin Giles of Saskatoon; only granddaughter Zoey Ledingham of Nanaimo as well as four Holland and ten Ledingham nephews and nieces. Linda was born in 1912 at Dilke, Saskatchewan and lived with her husband Elmer Ledingham and children in Colgate, Saskatchewan from 1945 - 1964. Linda was an inspirational Educator and worked much of her life at the Regina Correspondence School, where she wrote courses and taught many international students. Linda was an active Life Member of Weyburns Alexandria Lodge, as well as a member of the United Church of Canada. Linda had a love of travel and the game of bridge and was the recipient of the Saskatchewan Government Medal of General Proficiency in 1930 for which she was very proud. She will be greatly missed as our matriarch and link to our families historical past. The Celebration of Life will occur on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in Weyburns Green Acres Memorial Gardens. A social will follow.
