Obituary of Kenneth David Artman

Kenneth (Kenny to family and friends) David Artman, age 49, of Regina passed away peacefully at home early morning on August 14, 2020.

Ken was born in Regina on September 10, 1970 to Ken Artman and Marianne Schuette (Meyerhoffer). After completing junior high, Ken chose independence over academics. He decided to enter the work force at an early age, working construction as a drywaller for many years and later transitioning into heavy-duty mechanics. A work injury ended his career but he continued to push himself to unbelievable limits regardless of the excruciating pain he suffered daily.

In May of 1999, Ken met Shauna and they moved in together shortly after to remain life partners until his passing. They made a family with their fur-kids leaving behind Peanut and Lily, all missing him dearly.

Ken will always be remembered for his kind heart and love for animals. He would go to the end of the earth for those close to him without hesitation or remorse, regardless of the potential outcome.

Ken was predeceased by both his parents. He is survived by his life partner of 21 years Shauna Holmberg, son Danny Arkles, sister Shelley Davidson, half siblings Ken Eberle, Kendra Artman, Krystal Parker, Kris Artman, Mark Schuette, Tamara Schuette, Kim Smith, Amber Schuette, Melissa Schuette and 2 step siblings TammyLyn Schuette and Guy Schuette as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at 5:00 pm. with Celebrant Shannon Novak.
