It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Griffin Bennett announce her sudden passing on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 63 years. Barbara is survived by her parents Cecil and Patricia Griffin; daughters Tracy (Brent) Leier and Joanne (Jeffrey) De Sarno; sons Joseph (Crystal) Wood and Jonathan Wood (Nicole Persram); sisters Linda (John) Cornell and Yvonne (Wayne) Dirk; brothers Ricky (Mary) Griffin, Donnie (Verna) Griffin and Alfred Griffin (Sherry McIntyre); grandchildren Shawn, Michelle and Justin Leier, Kyle Johnson, Robyn Bien, Jayden and Ashton De Sarno, Cambrey and Wesley Wood; great-grandchild Maximus Leier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was born in Regina, SK on August 30, 1957 to Cecil and Patricia Griffin. She attended high school at Cochrane High School then went on to work in the hospitality industry for many years. Barbara loved spending time with friends and family. She was generous to a fault, and always had something in her tickle trunk for everyone. Barbara liked to knit, crotchet and gave her crafts to friends and family when completed. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and motorcycling.  Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private service for family will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 1:00 p.m. To view the livestream of the service, please click the link to Speers TV at the top of Barbara's Tribute Page at www.speersfuneralchapel.com
