GEISAM, Bryce
Bryce Roluph Geisam, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his first wife Rolande Geisam (nee Brule); parents Martin and Odelia Geis; daughter-in-law Rachel Geisam; and siblings Philomena Hubick, Valentine Geis and Kenneth Geis. Bryce is survived by his wife Geraldine Erickson; son Curt (Monique) Geisam of Regina, SK; daughter Donalie (Roger) Weslowski of Davin, SK; son Cordon of Regina, SK; daughter Comena (Ben) Wihlidal of White City, SK; grandchildren, Curt Eduardo Geisam, Monique Andrea (Braden Wagner) Geisam, Maranda Weslowski, Martin Weslowski, Robyn Geisam, Jessica Geisam, Morgyn Geisam, Nathan Geisam, Addison Wihlidal; sister Lillian Longpre; brothers Rochus “Roy” (Lillian) Geis and Charles Geis; as well as his stepchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was the definition of one of a kind. Always up for a game of cards, round of billiards, or a spirited discussion - especially regarding politics. Bryce loved to impart wisdom – especially during his days as a high school physics teacher at Miller Comprehensive High School, or while teaching his children and grandchildren about farming the land, and to unsuspecting tradesmen who were tasked with repairs at his various rental properties over the years. He wore many ‘hats’ during his lifetime and never truly had just one profession – often attempting to and succeeding at wearing multiple ‘hats’ at one time, with at least one of them being John Deere green. Bryce had a deep love for and pride in his family – chiefly as a son, sibling, husband, father and grandfather. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
