Leonard Kolb, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Annie Kolb; his brother Karl; sister-in-law Elaine; and brother-in-law Norman Schmalenberg. Leonard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gleeva; sons Greg (Shelly), Ken (Olena), and Ron (Carla); and daughter LaVonne (Trevor). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren Ryan, Nathan, Julia, Kaelen, and Mackenzie; sister Janice Schmalenberg; brother Richard (Barb) Kolb; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Leonard was born on the farm near Arbury, SK on December 12, 1935. He farmed near Balgonie for many years and retired in Regina in 1998. Leonard was involved with many volunteer organizations, coached hockey, was national president of the Elks of Canada and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Funeral Service will take place at Holy Cross Parish, 315 Douglas Avenue E in Regina, SK on Friday November 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions the in person service will be by invitation only.
