Obituary of Regina Hoskins

REGINA HOSKINS It is with great sadness the family of Reggie Hoskins announces her passing on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Reggie was born November 2, 1920 at home on the family farm in Kendal, SK to Frank and Caroline Rissling. She was the youngest of thirteen children. Reggie is survived by daughter Donna (Jim) Saunders; grandchildren, Laun (Moe), Bradley and Lindsay; and great-granddaughter Emily. She is also survived by her favorite sister Eva McLean, very dear friends Ernie and Carol McClintock as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Reggie moved to Regina at the tender age of fourteen. She held various jobs in her lifetime, notably PFRA, Woolcraft, Mortons Ladies Wear and Hill Avenue Drugs. On July 1, 1943, she married the dashing George Hoskins and they shared fifty-one years of life together in Regina. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue Regina, SK on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Koep presiding. A very special thank you to the incredible caring staff at the Silva Care Seniors Home, where Reggie has resided for the past eight years.
