Obituary of Emily 'Bunty' Lanigan

Emily was born in Scotland on September 16, 1923 and passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband George Mike? Lanigan, parents Simon and Mary Royan, brothers and sisters and great-granddaughters Callie, Nevaeh and Angelina. Emily will be lovingly remembered by her children: Lowell (Linda) of Strasbourg, Michael (Deirdre) of Calgary, Laurie (Deb) of Regina, Holly (Roger) Bourret of Regina and Marty (Sandy) of Regina; 16 grandchildren: Trent (Dena), Kurt (Shastidy), Shane (Krista), Andrew (Shannon), Deirdre (Trevor), Matthew (Erin), Kara (Phil), Jill (Stuart), Kyle (Ronnie), Lee (Li-Xia), Michelle (Jeff), Michael (Mardy), Simon (Lyndsay), Emily (Andrew), Joel, and Adam; and 17 great-grandchildren: Mason, Brittyn, Brooke, Shaya, Nixon, Cash, Kai, Carter, Beckett, Samuel, Jack, Keigan, Illyana, Emma, Madison, Aiden and Tyler. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Jessie and Vi Royan; and Mary and Rita Lanigan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Dr. Bernie Van De Walle officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
