It was a lovely service and we are sad that we couldn't be there in person. Our thoughts are with Uncle Dave, Sarah, and the girls. I've attached the poem that Auntie Gail wrote which my dad read at the service.

My deepest sympathy to Dave and family, and to the entire Gebhardt families. Gail and I shared many great times growing up. Our parents were also good friends, so we spent a lot of time at their farm, or they at ours. Gail will be missed by all that knew her. A wonderful person, gone too soon. May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Rest in peace, my old friend.

We are so sorry to hear of Gail's passing. Our memories go to the years we served at the Southey Baptist Church. We often stopped at the store to pick up some groceries and enjoyed our chats with Gail. The best memories involved our Country Church group, our practices, and the Sunday night events. Gail was a great supporter of those times. Our prayers are with you. Sam and Erika Berg

We would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of my Aunt Gail. I remember her as a smart witted, funny person when I was younger. She always took time to "hang out" with my sister and I when we were visited or visiting. I know she is looking down on us all with a smile knowing she was loved! Sincerely, Don, Sandra and Kaspar Frankish.

Our deepest, heartfelt sympathy to all Gail's loved ones, on her passing. We were elementary school and family friends. Gail loved to roam her home farm and introduce me to all her animal friends. We would play all day on the farm and return to her Mom and Dad's house for a loving greeting and warm meal. I loved being childhood friends with Gail! Rest in God's Love, Gail!

David and family,
We are very sorry to hear of Gail’s passing.
Gail was someone I (Elanna) remember as a Markinch farm girl at heart.
We both rode a bus to school and went to the same small “several grades in one room” school in Markinch for many years.
Gail was indeed a kind and good hearted person. I remember her being always friendly and being a good student.
She was also a good athlete - and much in demand when we played various sports at recess time.
(We always wanted to pick Gail when we chose sides for softball because she was tall - well taller than the rest of us anyway - and we could count on her to trap the ball at first base. Not too many people got past Gail at first base!)
I know she will be missed by her family and many friends.
Please accept our condolences and prayers at this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Elanna Stann-Roth (and Garnet Roth)
