Obituary of Henry Fellinger

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heinrich (Henry) Fellinger at the age of 68. After a courageous battle with cancer, Henry passed away peacefully on November 12, 2010 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. Born on January 28, 1942 in Regina, SK, Henry was the youngest child of Heinrich and Rosalia Fellinger. Predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Michael, John, and Annie, Henry will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law, Anne Fellinger and Velma Fellinger; brother-in-law Lothar Scheuer; nephews, Michael, Kurt, John, Ron, Adam, and Lynden Fellinger; Roland and Terrence Scheuer; niece Lorinda Scheuer; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Henry will also be greatly missed by his loving companion, Ruth Kershaw. Henry was a gentle and loving soul who brought happiness to all he knew. He was an avid collector of movie classics and music. Henry worked at Abilities Services where he met Ruth Kershaw his best friend and companion. Together they shared many wonderful years with their beloved cats, Kelly and Blackie. Henrys family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the Pasqua Hospital ICU and 3B units for the compassion and kindness they showed Henry. Special thanks to Dr. Abdulla and Dr. Kahn; Michelle, Randy, and Sue for their compassionate assistance; Fr. Rodriguez for his prayers and blessings. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, Sask, with Fr. Raymundo Rodriguez officiating.
