Obituary of George Comshiou

George Comshiou and passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on November 14th, 2010. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Lena Comshiou (Cocar), and he leaves behind his adult children June Millius, Sandra Comshiou, and Laurie Comshiou. George has several grandchildren, Tamara Millius (34), Tiffanie Walsh (27), Talia Zumpano (27), Stephanie Houston (27), T.J. Millius (23), and his great grandchildren Darryenne Millius (15), Delaney Houston (4), and Lauren Avery Houston (2). George was known to all of us in many different ways. We called him Dad, Moshu, Papa, Grandpa, and Great George!!! The most obvious thing that was known about Papa was that he was a kind, gentle and loving spirit. He had simplicity about life that was admired by many and emulated by few. George liked to sit on the patio of his beloved childhood, family, and retirement home on Atkinson St and visit with family, or friends who would drop by for a coffee or diet Coke. Dad liked to tinker in his yard by working on old lawn mowers, or fixing grass clippers...though he barely had enough lawn to mow! Moshu lead a simple and calm life. He enjoyed driving is his truck, going for lunches, and most of all, finding a bargain at a garage sales. We will miss his blue eyes, his smirky smile, but most of, we will miss the constant that he was in all of our lives from our births till now, and we will never forget him, nor the love he brought to all of us.
