BROWN, Donna Marie

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donna Marie Brown (née Start), late of Regina, SK, announce her passing on December 24, 2020 at the age of 75 years.  Predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Beulah Start; sister Audrey; brothers George, Howard and Earl.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne;  son Dean, his wife Jana, their sons Casey and Drew; daughter Elizabeth and her children Nicholas and Avery; sister Catherine Furlong and husband Bob of Otterville, Ontario; sister Barb Logan of Woodstock, Ontario: sister-in-law Joyce Brown of Regina; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Donna and Wayne met in Prince Rupert, B.C. in 1968 and were married October 11, 1969 on a beautiful fall day in Curries, Ont.   Three transfers and two children later in 1974 they were transferred from Victoria, B.C. to Swift Current, SK where they spent the next six years.  In 1981, Wayne's final transfer with the RCMP brought them to Regina.

Donna was a Registered Nurse for 40 years.  Following her retirement, when she wasn't attending her grandchildren's many activities, she was very involved with Westminster Church and choir.   She had many hobbies over the years, including making baby blankets for NICU, stained glass work, gardening and baking.

Cremation to take place, followed by a Memorial Service to be held at Westminster United Church, 3025 13th Ave, Regina SK on Sunday, January 3, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. with Darrell Reine officiating. A private interment will be held in the spring.
