Obituary of Bernadette Belhumeur

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, friend, and faithful partner Bernadette Belhumeur on January 1, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Rose Belhumeur; her beloved son Ian Belhumeur; her brother Albert ‘Cisco” Belhumeur; and her former partner and friend Clarence LaFontaine. Bernadette leaves behind her children; Clarence LaFontaine, Kristen LaFontaine and Dezriana LaFontaine (Makita); the children she raised as her own, Ernie “Jason” Naytowhow (Redeena), Milisa Severight, Bobbi-Jo Burgess (Scotti) and Lori Naytowhow; her beautiful grandchildren, Ian Jr., Cory and Rosie; and nineteen other beautiful grandchildren she loved and adored; her loving sisters; Theresa (Steve) Butler, Maria Belhumeur, Shirley Hayden (Armond) and Joanne Belhumeur; brother Francis Fisher; her sisters- in-law Enda, Irene and Darlene; many nieces and nephews; and her good friend Alice Nieman (Allen).
