PISCH, Katarzyna (Kathy)
(nee SZYMULA)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Baba and Prababa, Kathy Pisch, late of Regina, SK, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Jakub and Zofia Szymula; her husband Stanley Pisch; her sister Genowefa; brothers Stanley, Anthony, Joe and John. She is survived by her son Joe Pisch; and daughter Genowefa (Joe) Gnatek; six grandchildren, Michael (Nikki Sinclair) Pisch, Diane (Jeff) Clark, John (Marzena) Gnatek, Margaret (Andrew) Sarzynski, Krysia (Tadek) Bigas, Mirek (Beata) Gnatek and several great grandchildren including Maria, with whom Mom had many joyful visits. We all felt loved, but Mom really smiled ear to ear when visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom worked at Borden’s Bread and enjoyed the people and the work. By far, her happiest times were having her family and friends over for a visit and a meal. It was not unusual for Mom to whip up a delicious meal on short notice. Our family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Parkside Extendicare, who did wonders for Mom and others during such tragic times. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Danillo Rafael officiating.
