Obituary of Marjorie Beedle
On Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the age of 95 years, Marjorie passed away in Regina, SK at the Pasqua Hospital with her daughter, Judy, by her side. She was born December 31, 1925 in Rhein, SK to Nicholas and Mary (nee Klewchuk) Achtemichuk. Marjorie is survived by her daughters Judy Beedle (Regina) and Sandra Pritchard (Saskatoon); grandsons Daniel and Andrew Pritchard; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Rae Beedle (2007); her parents, Nicholas and Mary; and her siblings and spouses, Pauline (Ralph) Lolacher, John (Anne) Achtemichuk, Anne (Reg) Stone, Martha (Bill) McNichol, and Alex (Carol) Achtemicuk. Marjorie's life was defined by her love for her family, kindness, integrity, intelligence, and wit. She navigated her life challenges and disappointments with grace, strength and dignity. Marjorie enjoyed visiting with family and friends, baking, making a comfortable and welcoming home, sewing, gardening, spending time at Waskesiu and Greenwater lakes, curling and watching Roughrider games on television. Golfing was her passion. "Furbaby" Buffy, tickled her heart. Following Rae's passing, Marjorie moved from Swan River, MB to Regina, SK to be closer to family. In Regina, her life was enriched by the friendships of Anne Heal and Lynne Lynch who were like daughters to her. In her final years, Marjorie experienced many health issues but never allowed these to define who she was or diminish her spirit. She has since been cremated. A private interment will take place at a later date in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens, Yorkton, SK.
