Max was a great husband and father , we were married legally when he passed , we also share a son together, max had a sense of humour , that every one liked about him. He was blunt with certain things and very funny at times. At least he’s not suffering anymore and in a better place with his father in law. He will be sadly missed my his son , myself and his sister Mary Copland and best friend mike Colpitts of Regina. Love you and miss you! You will always be in our hearts.

Max was a good friend of my dad (Bill Forshner) for many years. This loss was very difficult on him. Over the years, in addition to friendship, we had "hired" Max on several occasions to help with a lot of general labor items. So Max had nicknamed me "boss" and that is how he always greeted me - with a slight grin & joking twinkle in his eye. It always cracked all of us up! He was a great guy and I knew that because my dad trusts and befriends few people; if you have good character, genuine heart, & are trustworthy then you are a friend of his for life. So, I knew that Max was "good people!" Thanks for the years and memories, Max. We were sorry to see you pass, yet grateful you were no longer suffering. Peace be with you.

My favourite memories I had with max were when we went to Winnipeg and went to the zoo there, he caught this monkey jerking off. He was a really different person from when I first met him, he turned into a really good father figure and a good friend to talk to. I’m going to miss him
