Tondevold family, I am deeply saddened by your loss. I am grateful to have been one of Adam's best friends in elementary school. Many of my fondest childhood memories are those memories I shared with Adam. I could always count on him to make me laugh and enjoy life. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of Adam's passing. I had the honor of having Adam as a student at FWJ along with his brothers and sisters. I knew of Adams's condition and I knew that he battled. I watched Adam battle on the mat. He was a champion then and brought great honor to his school. I know that he fought this battle with the same tenacity, strength, endurance and passion that he did on the mat and for that he will always be a champion. Adam was a larger than life person and that is how I will remember Adam. As his mentor and coach Bruce left us too soon, so Adam leaves us too soon as well. I am not sure that heaven will ever be the same with the two of them together again but I do know that that is where they are and that they will see to it that we are all able to carry on.
