Obituary of Vern Booty

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Vern. Left to cherish his memory is his partner Joey Cassels. Daughters - Colleen (Butch) Orell, Kathy (Stu MacLachlan), Kerry (Cindy). Grandchildren: Shannon (Troy), Shaun, Shayne (Sheena) and Shaylee (Tim). Great- Grandchildren: Elizah and Annabel. He is also survived by his sister Jo Terry, nieces, nephews, cousins, Joey's family and special friends Steve and Duncan. Vern was a member of King Hiram Masonic Lodge and Wa Wa Shrine Drill Core. The family would like to thank Palliative Home Care for making it possible for Dad to spend his last summer at his favourite place, Lumsden Beach. Special thanks to Dr's Rao, Kluz, Johnson, Clein, and the Palliative Care Team of 3A. The celebration of Vern's life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Powers officiating.
