Obituary of Donald Edward Joseph Towne

Don was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, on February 9, 1929, and passed away after a brief illness on December 12, 2010. Don is survived by his wife and best friend of 56 years, Melva, daughter Sheri (Glenn) Sebastian, son Doug (Brenda) Towne, grandchildren Lindsay (Ed) Gatzke, Ryan (Ciara) Sebastian, Jason Towne, Kiley (James) Anderson and great-granddaughter Addison. Don came to Regina to join the RCMP. He later joined the Regina Police Service where he retired as Staff Sergeant after 29 years of service. Dons retirement job? was as a Deputy Sheriff at the Provincial Court House. Don loved spending time with his family and looked forward each week to our Friday happy hours and Saturday morning breakfasts at Tomas Cooks. At Dons request there will be no funeral.
