Tammy,Tanya and families. I was so sorry to hear of Floyd's passing. I didn't have that many chances to visit with your dad, but when I did I enjoyed those times very much. He was always good for a laugh or two. I still remember, many years ago, him and Len skidooing up to the farm to get a whiskey out of Andy, good laughs were had. Take care, be safe and always remember your dad, he was and still is a great man.

Condolences to family and special friends.
Floyd and I both had roots near Ogema. We hadn’t been in contact for sometime until I met him a few years ago at coffee. As we both continued to attend the coffee group I became re acquainted with this considerate, good humoured and thoughtful man. It was clear to all that Floyd was a family man as he spoke often of good times and cherished memories with family members. Floyd was respected by all who enjoyed his company and we will miss him terribly. Coffee time won’t be the same without Floyd.

Sincere sympathy to Floyd's family. I lived a mile from Floyd's farm in the 50's and my parents (Stan and Jean Porritt) were good friends with Floyd's mom and dad. Floyd was also friends with my husband Bill Prentice. He will be missed by many friends and relatives. - Bill and Carol Prentice

We were very good friends of Floyd’s sister Gail, and it was when Gail was in the hospital that we had the privilege of meeting Floyd and Wendy at their home in Regina. Both Floyd and Wendy opened their home and made us feel very comfortable in a difficult situation. I remember thinking that it took a special person to provide a few honest to goodness laughs in a tough time. Floyd was one of those people who had that gift to make people feel better. We haven’t seen Floyd for years but we know that his presence will be missed.

Our condolence to the family of Floyd and special friend Ruth Duff. We have known Floyd (and Wendy)for many years. He was always great to visit with and always made time to stop and visit whenever we chanced to meet. We were good friends and neighbors with his cousin Betty Viergutz (Barton).
May you find comfort in knowing that others are holding you close in their hearts during this difficult time.

I’m very sorry to hear of Floyds passing. I’ve known him from my early 20’s. I’ve never meet a man that would share his knowledge so willingly to a young kid. As the years went on he was always kind to me and offered sound advice. I will always miss his chuckle and the gleam in his eye. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all that knew him.
