Obituary of Evelyn Emma Posehn

POSEHN, Evelyn

1924-2021

It is with sadness and yet gratitude for 96 years that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Evelyn on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Christina Schultz; husband Robert in 1993; one infant daughter Gail; brothers Albert, Ernest, Walter, Irvin, Bernard, and Arthur. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her children. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Elaine (Jim) Horack and family, Sheri (Rob) Kornberger, their children Jenna (Amir) and Jayden; Leeann and son Nicholas Horack, and Delee (Gord) Hauck, and son Tristan; son Larry (Gwen) Posehn and family, Cory (Melissa) Posehn and their sons Owen, Gavin, and Ryan, Lindsey Posehn, Murray Macala and family,  Andrew, Adelyn, and Evan; sister-in-law Ruth Schultz of Weyburn, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Due to current Covid restrictions, a private family Celebration of Evelyn’s Life in Christ will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 24, 2021 with Pastor Don Koch officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date at Kronau Heritage Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations in memory of Evelyn to the Kronau Heritage Cemetery Inc., Box 96, Kronau, SK S0G 2T0. Evelyn’s family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the Queen Victoria Estates for the 14 years Mom spent with them and a huge thank you is extended to the Doctors and Nurses in Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital for their exemplary care.
