Obituary of Phyllis Marie Tracey

PHYLLIS MARIE TRACEY Phyllis, born October 30, 1929 died peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Tracey in 1981 and parents Walter and Stella Peterson of Radville, Phyllis is survived by her son Larry (Sherri) and their children Shayne (Bree) and Jodi (Leo Desnomie); daughter Beverly Forsythe and her children Michael (Jennifer), David (Katie Harris) and Stephen (Karla); and great-grandchildren Isaiah, Sierra, Savana, Haylee, Sadie and Ella. She is also survived by her sister Ethel (Milton) Hunter. Phyllis worked with the Department of Social Services until retirement in 1987. After she retired she moved to Montmartre where she spent 20 happy years. She travelled extensively in her motorhome both alone and with family. She loved gardening and supplying fresh produce for her kids and grandkids. She made the best pickles in the world. She was a great lover of cats of all sizes and shapes. Her sense of humor will be sorely missed by her family. There will be no funeral at her request. She will be laid to rest with her husband Gordon in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, veterans plot. A family burial ceremony will occur at that time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7 would be appreciated as she was a long time supporter.
