Obituary of Dale William Mostat
Dale William Mostat passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Regina, SK at the age of 51 years. He was born on May 7, 1970 in The Pas, MB to Dennis and Joan. Dale’s family moved to Regina from The Pas in 1979. He graduated in 1988 from F. W. Johnson Collegiate. Dale worked as an Instrumentation Technician at Plains Midstream Canada for over 20 years. He was a true outdoorsman. Dale loved quadding, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and spending time at their cabin at Crooked Lake, where he and Jody have made many good friends. He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting. Dale fished the Saskatchewan Walleye Trail for many years, and recently received the 2020 Sportsman of the Year award. He spent many hunting seasons up north in Hudson Bay with his family, participating in the sport he loved. Dale was predeceased by his father, Dennis Mostat. He is survived by his wife, Jody Mostat; his son, Caleb Fay (Kristina Schneider); grandchildren, Ayla Fay and Aison Fay; his son, Colby Fay (Jenna Haywood); his son, Chase Mostat; his mother Joan (Dave) Budding; and his brothers, Kevin (Shannon) Mostat, and Craig (Barb) Mostat; as well as numerous extended family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Celebration of Dale’s Life will take place at a later date.
